Issues around unregulated birth workers

We have been actively communicating with Safer Care Victoria (having initially reached out to the CNMO in Dec 2026) to clarify current concerns in 2025/2026 around recent claims that Victoria will regulated doulas.

We continue to provide feedback. You can see our joint statement here.

Improving community awareness

It is our ongoing goal to meet with more MPs and educate them on issues around homebirth. In 2026 this is a major goal.
